One authenticated API request counts as one request. MCP tool calls use the same meter. We do not charge different prices for search and document retrieval, so the balance is easy to understand. Paystack checkout will support card and M-PESA top-ups.

What happens when I run out?

Free accounts stop at the free limit. Credit accounts stop when the balance reaches zero. Pro and Max accounts can continue from a prepaid credit balance after the monthly quota is used.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Pay as you go is the default option and the one we expect most independent builders to use.
